Deron Wade: Press

Other new songwriters/poets to watch for are Anne Davis with her "Temple Of Contradictions", V.K. Lynnes' "Black Halo" and Deron Wade with his CD, "Somewhere Out There". These three artists also show signs of being in the next generation of the poet/songwriter. We will always have Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie, but it's refreshing to hear artists like Jerald Wolf, Anne Davis, V.K. Lynne and Deron Wade and to know that true talent exists outside of the major labels.

Deron Wade is a breath of fresh air...
I had the pleaseure of checking out Deron at a local club here in L.A., and getting the cd Somewhere Out There,and I have to say Deron Wade is a breath of fresh air. With a style all his own and his guitar he makes music from the soul. Songs like See It In Your Eyes, Song #4 and the title track Somewhere Out There are my 3 personal favorites, but the entire cd is great. I hope he has new material soon becasue he is that good. He also puts on a great live show, makes me believe in feel good, dancing and groovin' music again. Watch out, this guys is going to be a big star one day. I think I hear influences of James Taylor and Billy Joel in there as well, take a listen make your own decision. Great work..... Good Luck on all your other music endeavours.....

"Somewhere Out There" is a great track. A co-worker dragged me to a James Blunt concert last night (fair amount of acoustic stuff between him and the opening act), and I liked your track better than anything I heard there, and I thought it was a pretty decent concert.
